The National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) invites applications from suitable and qualified security companies/agencies to provide security coverage at the University Premises.

The Security Company is to provide operative, unarmed, trained personnel to protect the client company and property from fire, theft, intrusion and other unlawful acts which disturb the peace, or which place property and life in jeopardy.

Specifications

The Company must:

• Have a certificate of incorporation.
• Provide a company profile with full details of professional staff strength and jobs undertaken in the past and present.
• Have tax clearance for the last three years.
• Have a VAT Registration Certificate.
• Be certified by the Nigerian Civil Defence Corps.

Main Job Responsibility

The Security Outfit will be required to:

• Record, observe, monitor and report flow of visitors and others on client's property.
• Provide appropriate control of access to premises.
• Observe and report any inappropriate or unlawful activity.
• Provide protection and ensure safety for individuals and property.
• Manage emergency situations and report to authorities as appropriate.
• Maintain appropriate documentation of all security tours and any incident reports.
